Walking from Matsumoto Station to Yoikana Shuzo
Approx. 20 minutes on foot
Start at Matsumoto Station and stroll along Ekimae Street and Honmachi Street, then follow Nakamachi Street along the beautiful Metoba River. You’ll find our brewery just ahead.
This route takes you through Matsumoto’s lively shopping streets, giving you a taste of the city’s charm as you make your way to the brewery.
Walking from Matsumoto Castle to Yoikana Shuzo
Approx. 10 minutes on foot
Take a leisurely walk from Matsumoto Castle through the historic castle town streets, where charming old restaurants and cafes line the way.
A large shopping mall is nearby, and sightseeing buses run regularly, making this a perfect combination of sightseeing and a visit to our brewery.
Getting to Yoikana Shuzo by Public Transport
By Car
From Matsumoto IC on the Nagano Expressway, it’s about a 15-minute drive toward central Matsumoto.
You’ll find 4 parking spaces on the east side of our adjacent shop, Hotaka Shoten.
By Train
From JR Matsumoto Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride.
Alternatively, you can hop on one of the sightseeing buses described below.

By Bus
Take the Matsumoto Sightseeing Bus “Town Sneaker” East Course and get off at Yakuso Shrine or Iori Reisui stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the brewery.
Fun fact: The “Town Sneaker” East Course runs every 20 minutes from Matsumoto Station, making it easy to explore the city while heading to our brewery. Check the official website for detailed schedules and routes.
